Denise Armstrong - Marion Campus
In 2011, Denise received news no one wants to be greeted with. The doctors told her she had breast cancer. She was immediately filled with fear and anxiety; however, through her faith in the Lord, she was filled with a different feeling. She was determined to live a life like Job. She began to relate her journey through cancer to Jesus carrying His cross up that long hill. She was determined to be like Christ and fight her hardest for her family, just as Christ fought for us.
Now, seven years later, Denise is a faithful volunteer at the Marion campus as a greeter. She is filled with life and freedom. Her journey has given her compassion, and as a greeter, her goal is to make everyone feel welcomed and to let everyone know that there is freedom available to them.
